Wednesday was the HC orientation... before that went to camp to do some work and had lunch with cf... thanks for your hikaru no go books (near completion le... haha)... And listened to some live performances... haha... what a nice way to while time away...
Then went hc... then i was like how to enter xia?... Was trying to enter via the side gate and realised that a security system was installed... so gotta wait for someone to come out so that i can enter... but sadly no one is coming out... so had to walk one big round to the main gate... and there i saw yih chyn! haha... so long never really talked to him since sec 1... lucky guy dun need to do NS... and he was flying off on friday (but sadly i couldn't get out of my area to see him)... and his med course was so much of a practical approach compared to nus... say like every week can dissect one body... and the patient interaction session is also quite beneficial too...
Then decided to visit the cnb ppl first... with zhi bang talking a lot of crap as usual... say i'm from johor coming for c chess trials... but i've seen the inevitable outcome - weiqi came out to form a cca... i shall say this would be very useful for weiqi's development... as in the past cnb is so bridge-dominated that c chess and weiqi ppl will start to play bridge, e.g. xiaoming and me... and i'm sure with so many pros like zhang xiang around, weiqi will undoubtably thrive... and u know wat? it was until the end that ppl told me weiqi actually got a booth somewhere... so i missed out on seeing my weiqi juniors... haix... i remb that time zhang hao sent me a greeting card and i promised them that i would visit them... me too blur liaoz...
Then later decided to walk around and saw the geog soc booth... quite quiet... so decided to find miss li first and ask abt the latest developments in my dear cca... haha... of course as usual she was not at her place, in fact her table shifted... then saw mdm ching... and she said i've become even more thin... oops... i thot i eat a lot in army still so thin? haha... wanted to visit teachers like mrs. tham and mr. loi but all were not there... so sad...
Then i decided to go back to the cnb table... and randomnity was there... lcy with his botak head also there... xuetying and her friend later came also... and she signed at the 'interested ppl' column... interest = chairman... then i tried to be more niao... interest put weiqi capt though weiqi splintered out le... haha...
And went back to the geog soc booth... stood down there observing the situation until the one manning the booth decided to ask me interested to join geog soc? haha... so funny loh... then of coz i hid my identity first. ask how's geog soc like? what activities have been organized? how u all meet? then in the end they find something wrong... so gotta say i'm their senior actually... and there we hit off... was actually very glad to see my geog soc juniors are so enthu!!! they said they had even wanted to organize a inter-secondary school geog comp, which was so great! and looking at their exhibits, i loved to see the way they have prepared them... yupz... in the future u all got any prob or need any advice can find me k? even miss li (i met her when she was going back home) praised u all loh... and hope to see ur publications soon! And stayed down there for quite some time, advertising for geog soc... and got 3 ppl to join! One of them sounds so much like me... he's from catholic high and was given the combi of MPEG though he wanted MPCG (and what made me so envious of those two juniors manning the booth is that they can take MPCG!!!)... so he's thinking of giving up geog too... so sad... hope he will make the correct decision and i'm sure he'll join geog soc to continue his interest!
after that went back to the cnb booth... and we decided to find ming feng (oh... gotta say mr. liw)... talked a lot of crap there... then after playing some boards at the cnb room, we went to food stalls at bukit timah to eat... haha... and as usual, i had to rely on tv mobile to catch superstar... Jiayou diya!
So this basically caps off one of the happiest days, to see my juniors carrying on the spirit of geog soc that i had wanted to set out, to talk a lot of crap with no boundaries involved...
