Ok... the Chinese New Year is coming! Hey hey...
Luckily I do not need to burn chu xi and chui yi... and gotta two days off on thurs and fri... so quite happy la... but the sad thing is the subsequent two weekends will all be burnt... meaning that i'll miss out on the bridge outing this sat, Singapore Open the subsequent weekend and the Talentime at hc where Diya the superstar will be the guest performer again... haix...
went home on thurs and slacked around... packing my room and attempting to set the chem paper for jerald... then got twice false alarms that i'm going out... but in the end went out on a midnight shopping trip with my parents to ntuc... shopped for the stuff that i'll be munching at jurong island...
Went back to hc on Friday... shall blog these in terms of issues instead of the chronological order:
1.
Weiqi I'm so glad that my juniors, all the way down to the great grand juniors, have not forgotten such a senior in qunxiang... think the one who took the longest to think was jin lei... abt 15 mins for him to think my name...
And i'm quite shi bai to only know that day that wei lai was my grand junior... OMG la... Anyway we took some photos and it was always a great feeling that they invite u back, hoping u can come to play though u are like a noob compared to them, like the 6-dan zhang xiang plus many others...
And yup again to mdm chiu: i'll not give up weiqi... it is like your n-th time telling me that le... maybe i din play comps... but of coz my standard not there liao mahz... must bi4 men2 xiu1 lian4... haha... i'll jiayou de!
2.
GeographyHehe... yet another interest... had a nice chat with ms gwee (i'm flattered that she thinks my geog is powerful though it is degenerating like crazy)... anyway i've already accepted the invitation to help train the guys in the 6 comps... so must really read up soon liao...
3. Met a lot of other teachers... mrs tham still retains that brand of jokes, ms yang looks still as stressed as ever, while ms heng is always very appreciative... at high school side, i din have the chance to meet up with mrs seck, mrs ke and mrs chan to talk (they always leave super early after the celebrations)... but met mingzhen who was stuck almost perpetually in brunei... so quite refreshing to see him down here... and had a nice chat with mr sim and mr wong as well... all promoted liao haha
4. Met a lot of other guys like sebas, tiong soon, junny, herbert... and even saw the ord-ed andrew visiting ms gwee... haha... anyway i'm an associate geper... reason: thinks almost like a geper but english too lousy... but i suppose i think both ways... lan-ed with ts, junny and bert later at btsc... haha... had fun with the
5. Nice performance with zehan... finally got a decent score of like 58% and a nice 2nd place among quite a strong field which sadly didn't win us anything... only the first gets the prize... anyway this came at the expense of changing four buses and getting there late... luckily got weiche to sub me for the first rd... and got 4 top boards of 8, 3 shared tops of 7.5... quite a nice number that we din get in the past... but that only covers 1 0, 0.5 and 1 each... haha... if we managed to score that 3nt board against the 1st, we would've got it... but i am very satisfied le... yay!
6. my camera still can't charge! every time bring it then show no batt... sad case argh... one day must go creative liaoz!
7. yday made some decisions regarding the uni apps after discussing with my sis (thanks a lot! i got listen one k...) Should be down to that list of few schs when i start applying in a few months' time...
8. I've got a godsister le! So happy!
