As I was burying a good friendship with someone who shared with me pain and sorrow through my difficult times and enjoyed some good times out there together, I wonder.

I really wonder.

Can we ever go back to the days when we would be so carefree talking abt stuff?

Can we ever be friends again?

Can we ever be truthful to each other?

The hurt will tinge, the sorrow will sap. Deep in my heart, you are still my friend though... and I would always welcome you back... though i shld say circumstances have forced us to such a roadblock that i have no choice but to do it.
thank you for bringing me memories...

Didn't do well for mocks, a real reminder of how things have gone awry in my J1 year... just as i was recounting all those days with chieh hwee! Yupps... and i guess if i were to reach the A* conditions, I must really work hard compared to last term... well at least compared to michealmas and first two weeks of lent...

Suddenly missing those months at eco, the working relationship i have cultivated with my re-live team... just wondering when would the forum team ever meet up again... haha... and whether i could get in touch with the team that i've worked with in ICES... and it would really be a nice time catching up!

Yups uploading photos with chieh real soon! So do watch out for this space, xuet!
thank you for bringing me memories...
Tuesday, January 20, 2009 @ 8:49 PM: A first week that we got to enjoy at cambridge
Hmmm seeing the dust on my blog (and of course chieh's blog...), I couldn't resist but shall blog again!!!

Have been coughing these days... thanks to a lot of factors like the sudden temperature drop that I have had to adjust, the lack of rest and plunge into the mocks when i've just got back, the milo dino that i made myself before taking the exams and a serious lack of sleep... hmmm had been trying to eat a lot of medicine ppl gave me + those i bought at boots and tried to pop strepsils into my mouth every now and then... but it seems that they aren't working really as effectively as they would claim on me... but yups at least i'm better and can do work (plus typing loads of stuff here!!!!)

First week of lent term is slacker in comparison to Michealmas first week... perhaps they're trying to give pple time to do holiday homework which is very hard to be done in the break. I'm glad that I've indeed spent my time well during the hols... meeting up with the ssg pple (esp shouheng whom i really miss watching soccer at his house), class ppl, buddies, cnb ppl (going back for a tourney gets u quite updated with stuff going on as well) and so many friends and family too!!! Had reserved my last week to prepare for the mocks but I dun think I would have regretted going out with all the pple in the end, cos I think meeting up with them really make my day!

oh... and to give myself less distraction this term, I've decided to leave all the vcds at home and for board games i've just brought citadels... left my 'biopolis' and half-completed 'save the mother earth' at home... and till now i realised i shall decide quickly what i'm gonna do for easter break... resolute to make the decision by this weekend... now there are plans to:-
1. USA (perhaps just a new york + washington tour and skip the toronto part that i had wanted to go for... and i think kim has been waiting for the answer from me for a long time)
2. Europe (looks like the greece plan is out and we're going to italy/france)
3. Singapore (well a good place to go, considering my mum's bday falls within the hols... but could i study there??)
4. Australia (a really outside plan, but my neighbour has been asking me to do there since day one... haha)

Yups haha!!! u see how undecided i am right... but i can tell u i am now most likely going for plan 1/2 and i will confirm that very soon once i talk to the europe ppl abt my decisions... but anything could happen so i'm not saying anything now in case i disappoint pple!!!

Things to look forward to this week:-
1. Astro talk on Wednesday
2. Bridge and Cookout on Thursday!!
3. Chieh's coming on Friday + watching kim's concert + 通宵bridge!!
4. Portland bowl on Saturday
5. Steamboat dinner at yibing's place on Sunday!!
6. 大团拜 for the cny period!!
7. Homerton steamboat on Tuesday too!

Anyway here are some pictures taken in the month of January!!!

thank you for bringing me memories...
Thursday, January 08, 2009 @ 12:22 AM: Truncated song writing
还记得那时候 你可曾对我说
说天空多辽阔

看世界的灿烂 天际为我们蓝
笑声起伏不断

ok... somehow when happy songs come to mind i shall jot it down... since it is such a rarity that occurs... i've been writing all the sad songs unless the songs are written for non-personal reasons... getting tired so i shan't write too much... perhaps will continue one day when i'm more free and inspired! anyway the tune is just running in my head so i need to jot down my chorus such that the next day when i wake up i will still hopefully remember the song (since it is so late and i won't want others to wake up and hear my recordings hahahah) :)

anyway thank you for breathing joy into my life!
thank you for bringing me memories...
