Hmmm long time no updates...
Shall summarise my summer time as follows:- Three weeks of slacking and trying out in different comp games, CM09, FIFA Online 2, Farmville... then two months of attachment at Jurong Island: Great colleagues (special mention to Ling Fan, Wenjie and Jiahui!), Good foosball action (with Minh especially), Disaster column and eventually enjoying columns, learning lots of chemistry that is not covered yet (thanks to Gerrit!), talks where I know of interesting stuff! Then a month of slacking, horrible stomachache in Wuxi, plenty of celebration and meetups and birthday wishes in the birthday week (thanks to a lot of pple!) and also CUMSA chalet and meetups in the form of karaoke marathon... and Yanzi concert as well and MAF... plus pesta sukan and MP teams...
Yups... back to Cambridge and the contrast is great... So getting used back to the Singapore mode when I would meet a friend each day whenever I feel bored, but right now different people are specialising in different subjects and I'm not particularly close to my fellow chemists, but at least I'm finding my equilibrium pt. Chem A with college friends, Chem B with jackie, and biochem with the biologists Singaporeans... Jackie never failed to capitalise on opportunities to joke when the lecturer was talking abt pKa...
Lecturer: Now for aldehydes it should be lower. pka of 17... or I should say, 15-17.
Jackie: Yes, 1NT point range.
Qunxiang: Carboxylic acid point range for 3rd seat psyche 1NT, Ketone for 2NT
Has been feeling sick for the past week and finally got better and could at least cycle liao... Taking a bus has its merits and well, I realise I should take uni4 when I could afford to... considering how cui3 my bike has become and lent term is the only time i would consider changing my bike (depending on how well it survives the winter)...
Other than lectures, which have been easy on us thus far, I have pretty much of fun, going to manchester (or i shld say trafford) to watch man utd and complete my pilgrimage; going to London to catch musical, Dirty Dancing!! It was chosen based on a restriction principle and Chieh and I just got the last tickets for the show, which both of us really enjoyed!
And in the meantime, back to the grind!
